Problem with room as was cold even though put heater to full capacity room simply wasn’t warm enough or warming up quilts are thin like summer when should have thicker for the winter

Room too cold on entry, took hours to increase and didn't get to comfortable temp. Thought I'd take a bath to warm up but water luke warm and not acceptable.

Bit in the middle of nowhere unless you drive, there's a Greggs and subway on the doorstep if your hungry and opens early. Room was basic but clean, it was the nearest place to a wedding venue we were going to do was fit for purpose, receptionist was very helpful and even carried an ironing board to out room as I had my hands full. Tea and coffee available in the room too.

Really happy with our stay, was only visiting area for the night and the room was amazing value. Everything we need and clean. One thing I think the room needed was a slip matt in the shower as it was quite slippery but this wouldn't stop me booking again, brilliant value

The worst customer service I have ever encountered. I understand you get what you pay for but I do not expect attitude. The reception lady clearly does not want to be there and made that very clear. I will never return.

This is a very basic no frills stay rooms are very basic no hairdryer tele is just basic not smart and very small wifi is extra and even when you pay only includes 2 devices which wasn't helpfull when travelling as a family. there is a small kettle. Looks like it need to have a complete refit when booking it did say this had been done but really all that has been done is a lick of paint. There is a smell in the building which wasn't helped by people smoking in there rooms. If your looking a for a bed to sleep in then i guess this would be ok bedding seemed fresh. Bathroom wasn'tthe best bath didn't look as though it had been cleaned at all and had chipped areas and rust. No breakfast or restraunt on site however there is a starbucks.

Rooms were very clean & tidy & spacious. Receptionist was very friendly & polite & very helpful. I would definitely stay again, when visiting our relatives.

We visited the property as 3 couples visiting the Stoke area.We had 3 rooms for a night, 1 of which had cleanliness issues. Andrea the desk clerk stepped in to not only change a dirty sheet but clean the bath.She single handily made our stay better.This is a tired property in need of a makeover.

Stayed here for a family weekend visiting Alton Towers. The room was basic but spotless, spacious and very comfy beds. Quiet area away from busy traffic. Staff where so kind and helpful. We will absolutely stay here again next time we are down.

Bare minimum, but if it's just a place to get some sleep whilst you're in the area, then it does the job. Toilets broken in reception/lobby area and the one vending machine there was broken too. But the bed was comfy and room was relatively inexpensive

Always use Travelodge wherever we go, never lets us down rooms are always spacious, bed is big and comfortable, tea and coffee, as much as you like, this particular one in Stoke is a cracking location, just off the A500, you can get anywhere from there, the staff were lovely and friendly, just the job, we are going to several places later in the year, and will be using Travelodge at them all can,'t be beat for value for money, service and all round just good places to stay, try them out!.....

Literally arrived late and went to bed. Andrea on reception was happy smiling and helpful when we arrived. Everything was as expected. Nice and quiet, clean.

Clean and tidy, but a bit dated. Staff very friendly. However take earplugs because the traffic noise from A35 was horrendous.

Ive been using this travelodge for a very long time and everytime Andres has been working there she been very helpful, anything I've needed she has been kind enough to help. She respectful and good manners. Very easy to approach and always goes out her way.

Only the beds are comfortable but dirty, breakfast is in the box is not fresh food by the way is ok only for sleep one night

Some weeks can be very cheap , I did 4 days for £40 per night . However when trying to book the week after price had doubled . Also cannot book stay longer than 2 days in the lobby and only accept card. Offered room service, opposite a Greggs and Subway. Nearest shop , 10 minute walk down the road but you have to cross a few busy roundabouts
